What books your past self would recommend to  ages 5, 11, 16 and 20. If there are any books released in the last few years you wish you had at those ages, you can talk about that too.

Okay, this is fun. There wasn’t variety of books when I was young, so I read Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys before graduating to romance. Of course those days, romance books were very tame. The couple didn’t even kiss until the end of the book.

Anyway, I’ll list books I wish I had.

Age 5 – I wish I had Amelia Bedelia (funny), Magic Tree House (informative), the Bailey School kids (they’ve been around, but are fun) and Magic School Bus (educational), Junie B. Jones (hilarious), ABC Mysteries and Carmen Jones Mysteries.

Age 11 – Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Pendragon series, Eragon series, Goosebumps series and other R.L. Stine books, Alex Rider series, Artemis Fowl series.

Age 16 – Vampire Dairies, Vampire Academy, House of Night series, Hungers Games, Vladimir Todd series, Daughters of the Moon series, the Princess Diary series, The Mortal Instrument series, Beautiful Creatures series and books by Neal Shusterman books

Age 20 – Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Sherilyn Kenyon books, actually any romance-fantasy, urban fantasy, contemporary and chick lit, espionage books by Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum, Jonathan Cook, James Grisham. I read everything.

BLURB

Nothing can stop Raine Cooper when she wants something…
Raine finally knows that her gorgeous neighbor, Torin St. James, is a legend straight out of Norse mythology, and that her feelings for him are strong. Torin is crazy about Raine too, breaking the one rule he lives by: Never fall for a mortal. The problem is he no longer remembers her, his memories erased by Norns—Norse destiny deities—to punish her for defying them.

She will make Torin forget his one rule a second time and fall in love with her all over again.
But she quickly learns that well-laid plans do not work when dealing with deities and supernatural beings. Desperate, Raine makes choices that could not only tear her and Torin further apart, but lead to the destruction of everything and everyone she loves.

REVIEW
If you have ever read anything written by Ednah Walters then you know that she has set very high standards for herself. All of her books thus far are amazing and they only get better the more she writes. Immortals is no different. Yeah, Runes was awesome, but Immortals is a notch above Runes.

I loved the story. I am team Torin all the way and I have been since I read Runes. Raine and Torin's love is so strong. Ednah has done a wonderful job with her characters as well as the story line.
